I began my professional career over 25 years ago, practicing and teaching Internal Medicine, at a large medical center. Early experiences with my patients taught me that mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing play a major role in healing illness. I was fascinated by the interconnections between mind, body and spirit and began to explore healing paradigms beyond the confines of conventional Western Medicine. Along the way, I began to meditate and to listen to my dreams. My interests shifted away from medical practice. I entered a Counseling Psychology program and began training in BodySoul Rhythms ® with Jungian Analyst Marion Woodman, Mary Hamilton(Dance Therapist) and Ann Skinner(Voice and Theater Teacher). After completing these programs in 2006 and 2007, I opened a psychotherapy practice combining Dreamwork with traditional psychotherapy and meditative practices and also began to offer workshops based in the expressive arts, as I had learned in BodySoul Rhythms®. In time, I added some additional tools to my tool kit- Training with the Center for Mind-Body Medicine and becoming Certified in Zero-Balancing ®. Since 2012 I have been working with Rodger Kamenetz, as a Dreamwork client, student, and more recently as a colleague. Our work together has been deeply healing for me and has transformed my professional practice. Working with dreams in this new way ‘Natural Dreamwork has become a pathway for freer feeling, improved relationships, and deepened connection to to a realm beyond ordinary human experience.. I am very excited about his new phase of my work. Since 2014, I and several other Dreamwork Practitioners have been meeting regularly with Rodger, to learn from each other, and develop this dreamwork practice more fully. We have formed a Natural Dreamwork Working Group, and practice and teach the method in several locations throughout North America. I invite you to visit my link Natural Dreamwork for more information.
